Controlled beta terms
Terms of Service
Effective date: September 7, 2026
These terms describe the current website and staff-operated controlled beta. They do not represent future marketplace, automated payment, account, or always-on agent features as active.
Using the website
You may use the website to learn about CompHelp Service, preview controlled-beta concepts, and submit a service request. You agree to provide information you are authorized to share and not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, impersonate another person, submit malicious content, or attempt unauthorized access.
Requests and owner approval
An online submission is a request for staff review, not an accepted job, binding service contract, confirmed appointment, or provider assignment. CompHelp may contact you to clarify scope. Serious commitments, provider assignments, and exceptional work remain subject to customer confirmation and CompHelp owner approval during the controlled beta.
Estimates and scope
Any public starting price, preliminary range, or estimate is informational until CompHelp reviews the property, equipment, access, labor, parts, risks, and requested scope. Final scope and pricing must be confirmed separately. CompHelp makes no guarantee that a displayed range, requested schedule, or example outcome will be available.
Payments
The current public site does not collect online payments or operate automated provider payouts. Payments are handled manually under separately confirmed service arrangements. Do not send card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, or other payment secrets through service-request forms or chat.
Service professionals
Public professional cards, matches, rankings, schedules, and marketplace activity labeled as demo or simulated are not live bookings. Where a third-party professional may be appropriate, CompHelp will review available evidence and discuss the proposed next step. Licensing, insurance, identity, and suitability may depend on service type and must not be assumed from a demo interface.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for lawful access to the property and equipment, accurate project information, backups where relevant, and identifying hazards or restrictions. Do not submit sensitive credentials, unnecessary personal records, or information belonging to others without authorization.
Third-party services
The site may link to or embed maps, social platforms, hosting, email, storage, or other services. Their availability and separate terms are outside CompHelp's control. A link does not guarantee or endorse a third party's performance.
No guarantee and limitations
The website and controlled-beta functions are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CompHelp disclaims warranties not expressly agreed in writing and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising solely from use of this website. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy and changes
The Privacy Policy explains current information practices. CompHelp may update these terms as the beta changes. The effective date above identifies this version. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply to later use.
